With Cargo Policy 'the freight are inssured for the risks during the process of conveying' CARGO Policy covers all risks (unlike CMR policy that insures only for those damages that the conveyor is responsible of), the owner of the policy being the owner of the freight. Cargo Policy can be made for a single convey (Cargo Policy) as well as for all conveys done during a certain period of time (Cargo Policy plan). Inssurance rates are calculated as a percentage of the inssured amount, from the value of the freight as declared by the owner.

The insurance rate is a percent from the total insured amount, at the value of the freight as stated by the owner, and has to be paid fully or in rates.
